My clone of the open source music library SoundCloud holds a special place in my heart. It was the first
application I ever built and it has come a long way since then! This one is full of features. If you're
someone who loves to explore new concepts and functions, this one will certainly peak your interest.

My story growing up is one of hard work and persistence in the face of uncertainty and strife. I am the son of a working class single-father and growing up, I understood that my success and my survival were mostly on my shoulders.
In 2018, I became the first member of my family to graduate from a 4-year University. I did this while balancing a full-time job, taking most of my classes virtually, working most days behind a bar and my nights studying for exams.
I got my start as a developer in 2021 as an Email Developer for a top ranked fundraising firm in
Washington DC. After 6 months of building out highly responsive and interactive fundraising emails
in HTML and CSS, I enrolled in App Academy. An intensive, 1,000 hour coding bootcamp with only a 3%
acceptance rate. There I learned technologies like JavaScript, React, Express.js and more! I used
those skills to build some of the most sophisticated applications ever built by a single developer.
Currently, I work as a Python Engineer for Cognixia USA where I build complex internal applications as well as train new engineers in documentation and new technologies.

In my spare time, I love to golf and picked up the sport during the pandemic when most activities were unavailable. I've gotten better throughout the years and I'm always looking for new people to play with and learn from! Additionally, I love to read, I always try to make time to workout and of course, I love to program!
